Here is a short update, why it takes so long with the interviews and what to expect.
Exactly four weeks ago today I started the Tour de Medizininformatik in Biel/Bienne by bike. The tour was mega exciting and I am so happy to have received so much support and interest from friends and acquaintances! 😉 Many thanks again! On each stage I was accompanied by someone and that gave me a lot of strength and motivation. Back from a two-week break in the Swiss mountains and in Ticino (the picture in the article is a photo in Grimentz), I threw myself into the next project at my part-time position at the Institute for Medical Informatics. This means that the processing of the interviews is progressing slowly… 😕
In addition, with the interviews and the many videos I have recorded, a lot of material has come together. Originally I had thought that after the tour I would have enough time to edit all the interviews, etc. However, I didn’t expect such an exhausting semester. Especially towards the end of the semester I had to put a lot of time into different school projects. Now I have to catch up on my time at work, so you have to be a bit patient with the interviews.
At the moment I plan to process the collected material as follows:
- 2 – 3 minutes video with a summary of the interviews
- 12 minutes documentary film about the whole tour
- small video sequences of interviews for Instagram & Facebook account of the medical informatics course
- 5 minutes video, how did I prepare to ride 1000 kilometers in 5 days
In the meantime, all videos of the stage highlights have been completed and are published in a playlist on my YouTube channel The Student of Cycling:
